[CURIOSITIES] Lanos Sport PL 2000

Below you can find official interesting curiosities related to this model and version. Tab "curiosities" has been additionaly expaned by few segments, thanks to that you can find specific information easier. Additionally, unlike the old site, some curiosities may have pictures showcasing it.

Below this tab there is another one - a complete work process on this model. This might be actual or archival (depending on information: "Model finished", "Work in progress..."). A table with description of work done was divided into more categories. Thanks to that there is no more chaos like on old, violet mods.darewnoo.pl. Both curiosities and work progress are related to the first model from GTA IV.

Things related to www.mods.darewnoo.pl		• This model started the “Lanos era” from 2013.

Changes in content of the final folder compared to the previous models		-

Testers and authors of the screenshots		• The testers and the authors of the screenshots were: Valkir, Marks.

Things that were planned, but not added		• The text on the number plate was supposed to be convex, but we were not able to do that.

Things never planned, but added		-

Random parts		• Model has random parts.

Costs		• Model was co-financed by sponsors. • It was one of the most expensive and longest made models ordered by mods.darewnoo.pl.

Mistakes and bugs in model		• Low quality texture of the engine, due to lack of proper photos, • No small cuts below the front and the rear lights.

Curiosities related to the working progress of the model		• The work on this model took place from July 24 to October 11, 2013 (with breaks).

Information about number plates		• NE on the number plate stands for LaNos DaEwoo. 55 is an accidental number.

Base model		• It was a base model for Lanos Sport US and further 12 versions.

Differences to other subversion of the simillar model		-

Original dimensions		• Model was based on original dimensions (4074 x 1432 x 1678 mm).

Parts and textures prepared by darewnoo		• ABS # DUAL AIRBAG and Sport inscriptions and number plate, upholstery and clock textures

Other curiosities		• The “OK” sticker on the side window was first used in Polonez Caro Plus. • The model should initially be called Lanos Sport EU (which can be deducted by the name of the screenshot folder), but since the model does have a polish number plate, I changed the name to Lanos Sport PL. • At first, the interior was in low quality and small amount of details. The centre console and door panels were flat and were based on textures from photos (those photos can be found in the wtd file). • At first, the model did not have a tachometer. • The headlining was beige at first, but it was later changed to gray. • For the most of the time, the model did have orange indicators. 18 days before finish, the indicator colour was changed. • Unofficially, this car was started on May 22, 2013, not June 24. • The 3D model of the engine in this model (and all other Lanos variants) was previously used in our Daewoo Joyster (see first pic). • The work on all the Lanos versions were very well planned way before the car was started. I even send Lazlow an application in which I precisely described all planned versions together with pictures (see second pic). • It is the first Lanos Sport for GTA, as well as the first 3D model of it publicly available. • The final textures were later corrected by me (darewnoo).
